Southwest Health is pleased to announce that Ekaterina Fedorova, MD, a highly trained general surgeon with specialized expertise in abdominal transplant surgery, breast and vein surgery, has joined its team of medical professionals. Dr. Fedorova is now accepting new patients at Southwest Health’s Platteville location, bringing advanced surgical care to the southwest Wisconsin community.
Dr. Fedorova brings a deep commitment to rural health and comprehensive surgical service. Ekaterina Fedorova, MD was born and raised in the Far East of Russia and moved to the United States in 2006 on an international scholarship. She completed undergraduate studies at the University of Idaho and later completed her medical education through international and U.S.-based training, including two years on the island of Saba in the Caribbean. She went on to complete her general surgery residency at MedStar Baltimore and a fellowship in abdominal transplant surgery and research at the University of Wisconsin. She is passionate about rural health and providing comprehensive surgical care to the southwest Wisconsin community.
In her role at Southwest Health, Dr. Fedorova offers patients a broad range of surgical services for
