SCREENING WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT

Walk-In Mammograms

Life gets busy. Scheduling a mammograph doesn’t need to be your last priority. The walk-in mammography clinic at Southwest Health allows patients access to same-day imaging for peace of mind and ease. 

What you need to now:

Southwest Health will host a Walk-In Mammography Clinic on the first Wednesday of every month from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The clinic will take place in the Radiology Department at Southwest Health, and patients should use the 1st entrance and enter through the front door. Upon arrival, patients should check in at the Walk-In Mammo desk and complete a registration form before their screening.

Walk-In Mammogram Requirements

All participants must:

  • Be aged 40 or older
  • Haven't had a mammogram in the past year
  • Have not had breast cancer in the last 3 years
  • Not have had breast surgery or a breast biopsy in the past year
  • Not have breast implants
  • Not have any current breast problems or concerns

Remember to bring the following with you:

  • Your health insurance card
  • The name of the facility where you had your last mammogram
  • The name of your primary care provider
