At Southwest Health, we are committed not only to providing exceptional care to our patients, but also to supporting education and career development in our region. Our job shadow experiences offer students the opportunity to explore health care careers firsthand. Through job shadowing, students can observe professionals in action, gain insight into specific career paths, and discover the wide range of opportunities available in health care. This experience helps bridge the gap between school and the workplace, providing a clearer understanding of how education, passion, and real-world experience connect to future career goals.

Request Form: Interested in a student experience? To be considered, you must upload your immunization record and acknowledgment form (linked below). If you are under 18 years old, a parent or guardian must sign the Student Experience Request Form. Requests submitted without the required documentation will not be reviewed.

Preferred Shadow Dates: Please provide up to four preferred dates, listed in order of preference, that are at least two weeks from the date of your request. If your schedule is not yet finalized, you may leave this section blank and contact Southwest Health Human Resources once your availability is confirmed.

If you are unable to attend your scheduled job shadow, please notify Southwest Health Human Resources at 608-342-0998 or hr@southwesthealth.org. A no-call no-show will limit future shadowing opportunities.
