Michael Tashner, OD
Dr. Tashner is a lifelong resident of southwest Wisconsin. In the Eye Center, he specializes in both optometry and ophthalmology, focusing on contact lenses, geriatric care, and provides ocular care to patients starting at one year of age, low vision, and co-management of medical and refractive surgery.
Melissa Carr, MD
Dr. Carr specializes in providing personalized obstetrics and gynecological care. Her expertise encompasses a wide range of reproductive and pregnancy care as well as comprehensive gynecology care, including menopause, irregular periods, contraception, ovarian cysts, fibroids, and incontinence solutions. Mary Jo Oyen,

Working in the Eye Center, Dr. Oyen specializes in both optometry and ophthalmology, with a particular interest in advanced surgeries. These include cataract surgery with advanced technology intraocular lenses and microinvasive glaucoma surgery. She also performs oculoplastic surgeries, including repairing droopy eyelids and inward or outward turning eyelids. She brings years of surgical experience with advanced technology to the community where she was raised.
Mark Bogner,

For Dr. Bogner, severe, acute illness and major trauma represent the core of his specialty training; but he also helps with less severe acute injury and illness concerns and social problems. His vast experience in emergency medicine makes him a valuable asset to the Emergency Department at Southwest Health.

As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Lauren performs psychiatric evaluations, develops treatment plans, prescribes medication, and continues working with patients to adjust treatments and offer additional guidance and recommendations. Lauren has a special interest in treating adolescents and young adults and working towards the individual’s overall wellness. Lauren provides mental health therapy in Southwest Health’s SBS Behavioral Services unit.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Lacy provides psychotherapy to both adults and adolescents at
Southwest Health Behavioral Services outpatient clinic. Lacy has experience working with people with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, thought disorders, adjustment issues, the LGBTQIA+ community, and trauma. Her treatment approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, stress management, EMDR, and art therapy. Lacy uses art therapy to help promote insight, foster self-esteem and self-awareness, and engage the body, mind, and spirit in a way that verbal articulation cannot achieve alone.
