Dr. Kramer grew up on a local dairy farm and earned his Medical Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He served as Chief Resident at the UW Hospital and Clinics in 2001 and 2002 before returning to the Dodgeville and Mineral Point area where he provided both Primary Care and Emergency Medicine services for many years. Dr. Kramer brought his experience and expertise to Southwest Health in 2018 when he transitioned to full time Emergency Medicine. Dr. Kramer’s areas of interest include trauma, complex care management, critical care medicine and leadership.
