Construction Updates

To meet growing healthcare needs in the region, Southwest Health is breaking ground new Medical Suite located on Eastside Road, adjacent to Southwest Health’s Platteville Clinic and Hospital. This project marks our fifth construction initiative in just five years, underscoring our commitment to provide cutting-edge medical services and improving patient care. The continued growth and investment demonstrate our dedication to meeting the health needs of the community and fulfilling our mission of creating a healthier southwest Wisconsin. Patients that have questions about ongoing construction can refer to our frequently asked questions or ask Southwest Health’s employees when on campus.

The Medical Suite will offer a wide range of outpatient services, including

  • Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT)
  • Audiology
  • Dermatology
  • Massage Therapy
  • Mental Health/Behavioral Services
  • Eye Center

Once construction on the Medical Suite is complete, the following services will be expanded into the now vacant space.

  • Operating rooms will expand from 4 operating rooms to 7
  • Lab
  • Inpatient pharmacy
  • Infusion/oncology
 

Southwest Health will break ground in the spring of 2025 on the Medical Suite and construction will be complete in the summer of 2026. Once completed, Southwest Health Behavioral Services, ENT, Audiology, Dermatology, Eye Center, and Massage Therapy, will relocate to this new building. Total construction completion is anticipated for 2028.
