Information Technology Specialist

Requirements

  • Associates’ degree in an information system related field is required.
  • One to two years’ experience with systems or applications similar to those used at Southwest Health (e.g. Microsoft Windows OS, Windows Server OS, VMware, Active Directory, Exchange Server, basic Networking and IP Telephony).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office products required.

Work Hours

We are seeking a full-time (40 hours/week) IT Specialist to work Monday-Friday between the hours of 7:00am-5:00pm. Includes an on-call rotation of every third week.

Job Summary

The Information Technology Specialist installs, maintains and supports workstations, printers, network equipment, telecommunication equipment and other electronic devices.  Installs and supports applications used on Southwest Health workstations and servers.  Assists in providing secure and reliable network, voice and data systems.   Provides user training to optimize the utilization of resources.
