Maggie Jane Steinbeisser, DO

Dr. Steinbeisser is a highly experienced, board certified general surgeon. Her compassionate caring nature led her to begin her career in healthcare at a young age as a Certified Nursing Assistant when she was in high school. She completed her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine and then, because of the life-changing capacity of surgery, she chose to do her General Surgery Residency at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital. 

She has received special trauma training, including certification and courses in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, Advanced Trauma Operative Management, and Advanced Surgical Skills For Exposure In Trauma.

Dr. Steinbeisser holds on tightly to her Midwest values. She cares for each patient as though they are a member of her family, with caring compassion. She takes time to answer questions, explain options, and make sure her patients are happy with their outcome.  Growing up in a community similar to Platteville, she is happy to raise her children in the area.

Special Interests: Dr. Steinbeisser has a variety of professional interests including general surgery, breast surgery, minimally invasive surgery, and bariatric surgery

Personal Interests: She enjoys spending time with her children, gardening, and visiting national parks.
