Experience: Kaitlin has experience as an outpatient pediatric, inpatient adult, and home health Occupational Therapist. She also has worked in the school setting and in a skilled nursing facility. Kaitlin enjoys educating and treating all ages with sensory integration strategies that enhance their participation in daily life. Difficulties with learning, struggles with daily tasks such as getting dressed or the dreaded bedtime routine, picky eaters or behavioral concerns are just a few of the things Kaitlin can help with. Kaitlin’s doctoral work was centered around resiliency in the face of trauma and how it can affect the day to day lives of patients. She is an advocate for trauma-informed care and works closely with doctors, counselors, parents, caregivers and school staff to produce the best outcome for her patients.
She is currently working toward her board certification in pediatrics.
When not working as an OT, Kaitlin also can be found helping out on our ambulance as a critical care paramedic.
Personal Interests: Kaitlin enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and two dogs, volunteering in her local fire and EMS department, and adapting new toys every Christmas so that all kids can enjoy them!
