Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
  • Current student or recent graduate with a junior standing (or equivalent) pursing a degree in Quality Analytics or related healthcare quality or healthcare management field
  • Proficient in computerized word processing and excel preferred.

Work Hours

  1. We are seeking a part-time (20-40 hours/week) temporary Quality Department Intern to join our team from May through August. Scheduled workdays are Monday- Friday between the hours of 8:00am and 4:00pm.

Job Summary

The Quality Department Intern will support the hospital’s ongoing efforts to ensure the highest standards of patient care and operational efficiency. The intern will assist in collecting, analyzing, and reporting data related to patient safety, compliance, and process improvements. This position offers an opportunity for hands-on experience in a healthcare setting, allowing the intern to contribute to key projects aimed at enhancing service quality and patient outcomes.
