Occupational Therapist (Platteville)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program required
  • Current license in the state of Wisconsin as an Occupational Therapist in good standing required.
  • Hand and Upper Extremity experience preferred.
  • Must be willing to complete Hand Therapy Certification (CHT) from the Hand Therapy Certification Commission with support from Southwest Health.
  • Must be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS).

Work Hours

We are seeking a full-time or part-time (24-36 hours/week) Occupational Therapist to work in our Rehab Department in Platteville, Monday-Friday. Flexible hours.

Job Summary

Develops, improves, or restores skills in activities of daily living, work or productive activities, play or leisure activities for outpatients. Interventions may include design, fabrication, application or training in the use of assistive technology or orthotic/prosthetic devices, application of physical agent modalities and application of ergonomic principles to the performance of occupations. Provides prevention and wellness services, including screening and health promotion.
