Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in an information system related field required.
  • One to two years’ experience with systems or applications similar to those used at Southwest Health (e.g. Microsoft Windows OS, Windows Server OS, VMware, Active Directory, Exchange Server, basic Networking and IP Telephony).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office products required.

Work Hours

We are seeking a full-time (40 hours/week) IT Specialist to work Monday- Friday between 7:00am and 5:00pm, with participation in an on-call rotation.

Job Summary

The IT Specialist is responsible for installing, maintaining, and supporting workstations, printers, network equipment, telecommunications equipment, and other electronic devices. They also install and support applications used on Southwest Health (SH) workstations and servers. Additionally, the IT Specialist helps ensure the security and reliability of SH’s network, voice, and data systems, and provides user training to optimize the use of available technology resources.
