Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent required
• Familiarization with medical terminology and prior health care experience
• Knowledge of basic office procedures/equipment and computer systems
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 6 months of hire

Work Hours

We are seeking a casual Surgery Aide to work Mondays-Fridays, between the hours of 9:00am-5:30pm.

Job Summary

The Surgery Aide will be responsible general room stocking, including ordering supplies, stocking into storage and into rooms, checking out dates, and assisting other staff with non-nursing tasks including, but not limited to, assisting with room turnover. Assists as time allows with anesthesia supplies. Works under the direction of the Surgical Director and/or leads.
