Requirements
- Requires a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent, with a preference of formal education in healthcare revenue cycle beyond high school by way of a certified diploma or associates degree.
- Minimum of 5 years experience with revenue cycle is required, 10 years preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel including the ability to create daily and monthly logs and summary reports, insert simple formulas and manipulate the design and appearance of worksheets required.
- Ability to prepare and analyze data compared to daily, weekly, and monthly departmental goals required.
- Demonstrates superior understanding of revenue cycle functions required.
Work Hours
We are seeking a full-time (40 hour/week) Revenue Cycle Analyst to work days, Monday-Friday.
Job Summary
A senior level professional position in the Revenue Cycle maintaining oversight of all revenue cycle processes. Responsible to track and trend Key Performance Indicators and monitor effectiveness of revenue cycle systems. Works to find root cause of denials and ensures accuracy of contractual adjustments. Is a key resource to revenue cycle leaders (PAS, PFS, HIM) as the internal expert on revenue cycle processes and tools. Thinks outside of the box to develop solutions to managing technological and Epic workflows across: registration/scheduling, cash posting/reconciliation, HIM/Coding, and claims processing issues. Is familiar with payer guidelines and rules and is able to train other staff in correct practices by payer. Maintains high level of internal and external customer satisfaction
