Requirements
- Associates or Bachelor Degree in Business, Media, Communications, or related field OR equivalent related administrative assistant or support experience required.
- Proficient typesetter and proofreader.
- Ability to perform basic printing, trimming, and laminating.
- Knowledge and skills of Microsoft Office programs.
- Resourceful with basic organization skills, attention to detail, and an ability to implement a daily work plan.
- Listening, verbal and basic communication skills.
- Ability to self-manage and produce results independently and as a member of a team.
- Ability to recognize decisions that are outside the scope of the position.
- Interpersonal skills demonstrating professionalism, relating well to others, and relationship management.
- Awareness and sensitivity to diversity of people and ideas.

Work Hours
We are seeking a full-time (40 hours/week) Marketing Assistant to work in our Marketing Department, days Monday-Friday.
Job Summary
Perform a wide variety of administrative duties that support the marketing director, marketing specialist, and marketing function. Transcribe materials, track, organize, and inventory marketing materials and apparel, assist with uploading intranet content, answering correspondence, distributing materials, and staffing events are basic duties. Under the direction of the marketing director, organize, track, and respond to sponsorship requests and process invoices, and perform other duties as requested.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

- Type or transcribe marketing materials when originals cannot be found
- Coordinate materials and file for translation to Spanish
- Track, organize, and submit check requests, and mail payment for sponsorships
- Under the direction of the marketing director, code and submit invoices for payment
- Organize and distribute internal marketing materials and apparel store items
- Assist with community outreach opportunities and events, sometimes requiring after-hours attendance
- Assemble, print, trim, laminate, distribute, and inventory of marketing materials to internal departments
- With budget and strategy guidance from the director, coordinate marketing activities including media buy, and maintain advertising schedule
- Provide basic office and administrative tasks as necessary including emailing and making phone calls to vendors
- Assist the marketing specialist with employee intranet and posts
- Assists the director with graphic design, if applicable based on experience
- Support as appropriate the efforts of other departments and teams
- Adhere to Southwest Health’s value-based behavior standards.
