Southwest Health announces they have reached an agreement to purchase the Eye Care Center and optometry practice of Dr. Paul Lueck at 346 Main Street in Darlington. With eye care clinics in Platteville and Lancaster, this will be the third Eye Center location operated by Southwest Health, and the anticipated opening date for the new location is July 21.
Optometrist Jenny Belkin, OD, will help launch the new Eye Center location and begin seeing patients in Darlington on Tuesdays and Thursdays with additional hours and coverage to be offered according to patient demand. Dr. Belken is part of a team of eye care professionals that also includes optometrists Nicole Klein, OD, Thaddeus Wontor, OD, and ophthalmologist Mary Jo Oyen, MD.
“We value Dr. Lueck’s many years of service and the quality he provided his patients, and we’re honored to help him achieve a well-deserved retirement,” says Southwest Health Chief Operations Officer Steve McCarthy. In turn, we’re also very proud to bring the people of Darlington and the surrounding area comprehensive access to optometry and ophthalmology care available through our team of professionals. Eye health is vital to living a quality life, and our Eye Center experts and staff are well known for delivering a broad range of quality eye care services from exams to surgery and everything in between. Patients of our new Darlington clinic can expect a high level of experience and expertise as well as the kind of personalized service people come to expect from everything we do.”
In addition to expert care, Southwest Health’s Eye Center locations all offer the latest styles and technology in frames, lenses, and contact lenses.
