Young At Heart Club

Piccasso once said, "It takes a long time to grow young." Well forunately, at SHC we have a something to help you speed up the process.

Free Club for People over 50

Young At Heart is a fast-growing free club created exclusively for people who are a little wiser for having a few years behind them. Young At Heart members are curious people, open to knew ideas and new friendships.

The way we see it, when you're green, you're growing. Staying young at heart means you stay more active and engaged. And in the long run, we hope you live longer and live better, too.

The club's goal is to connect you with social events, fun activities and wellness programs. Some are sponsored by the club. Many others are already happening in our area.

Who We Are

Our club is a collaboration of SHC, Park Place Senior Living, the Platteville Area Chamber of Commerce and the Young At Heart Advisory Committee made up of committed and interested volunteers from around our community. The Advisory Committee meets at Park Place the second Thursday of each month at 3pm to plan our events and activities. All members are invited to come to meetings.

Get Social; It's Good for Your Health

Our Super Socials are free and open to all members and their friends. So you'll never forget when they are, we always hold them the second Thursday of each month from 4:30 to 6pm at Park Place Senior Living on Elm Street in Platteville. They have a beautiful main meeting area and other adjacent rooms that help make us all comforable, so we can relax and enjoy our time together. Light snacks and refreshments, including wine are always provided. There's no cost to members for these Super Socials. Join Us!
