At Renaissance, Our Guests Are in Charge 

We focus on our residents with everything we do. Renaissance features a coordinated system of professionals who care for residents and empower them with a voice in their daily lives.

Delicious Meals 

Our dining rooms are tastefully decorated with fine china and flatware on linen tablecloths. Guests enjoy three home-cooked meals a day, prepared on site under the direction of our registered dietitian. Guests may be served in their own rooms. Snacks and special diets are available. Family and other guests are always welcome.

SHC’s dedicated staff are compassionate, attentive and respectful.

Our personal care includes a multi-disciplinary team of health care providers who meet regularly to provide a consistent, up-to-date care plan for each resident. We continuously train staff in the latest care techniques.

Access to SHC physicians is provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and we have a registered nurse on-site at all times.

Whenever possible, our goal is to return residents to their homes and their lifestyles. Our on-site professional therapies help residents regain function and independence following a stroke, surgery or fracture.

Guests have the choice of a private or semi-private room that is comfortable, well-maintained and attractively decorated. We encourage residents to bring personal items such as a rocking chair, pictures, a radio or TV. Throughout the seasons, our nursing home offers views of our neighboring farming community, and residents and guests are welcome to enjoy our outdoor pavilion.

To meet the unique interests of our residents, we offer diverse social and recreational activities. Our own bus enables residents to get out and active at community events. Our highly anticipated mother and daughter banquet and holiday party are annual hits with residents and their families. Area clergy hold regular religious services on site and our active Resident Council meets monthly to discuss specific issues and make suggestions.

Generally, we hand-deliver greetings sent before noon on the same day. Greetings sent after noon on Friday, or anytime on Saturday, Sunday and holidays will be delivered the following business day.

Unfortunately, due to patient privacy rights, we cannot acknowledge if a patient resides at Epione Pavilion, or if your message has been received. SHC reserves the right to review and restrict any messages sent to our residents with inappropriate or unsuitable information.
