Renaissance (at Epione Pavilion in Cuba City)
Renaissance isn't home. But, we will always do our best to make it feel as close to home as possible. We are the area's premeire local option for people who need 24 hour skilled nursing care. We are also the premeire option for short-term rehabilitation after surgery or illness. Our skilled nursing and rehab services are recognized as among America's top programs by the independent not-for-profit Consumers' Research Council of America. At Renaissance, Our Guests Are in ChargeWe focus on our guests with everything we do. Renaissance features a coordinated system of professionals who care for residents and empower them with a voice in their daily lives. Delicious MealsOur dining rooms are tastefully decorated with fine china and flatware on linen tablecloths. Residents enjoy three home-cooked meals a day, prepared on site under the direction of our registered dietitian. Resident may be served in their own rooms. Snacks and special diets are available. Family and guests are always welcome. The dedicated staff at Renaissance are compassionate, attentive and respectful. Our personal care includes a multi-disciplinary team of health care providers who meet regularly to provide a consistent, up-to-date care plan for each resident. We continuously train staff in the latest care techniques. Access to SHC physicians is provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and we have a registered nurse on-site at all times. Whenever possible, our goal is to return residents to their homes and their lifestyles. Our on-site professional therapies help residents regain function and independence following a stroke, surgery or fracture.
Residents have the choice of a private or semi-private room that is comfortable, well-maintained and attractively decorated. We encourage residents to bring personal items such as a rocking chair, pictures, a radio or TV. Throughout the seasons, our nursing home offers views of our neighboring farming community, and residents and guests are welcome to enjoy our outdoor pavilion. To meet the unique interests of our guests, we offer diverse social and recreational activities. Our own bus enables residents to get out and active at community events. Our highly anticipated mother and daughter banquet and holiday party are annual hits with residents and their families. Area clergy hold regular religious services on site and our active Resident Council meets monthly to discuss specific issues and make suggestions. |
