The Health Resource Center is located through the glass doors in the lobby of our new hospital on East Side Road in Platteville, Wisconsin. Patients, family members, and other members of the health community are welcome to visit the Resource Center, which includes a children’s area with books and activities. At Southwest Health Center, we believe in caring for the whole person: mind, body, and spirit. The Resource Center has a specialized collection of books and media with motivational messages that can help you and your family and friends search for hope and peace-of-mind through difficult times. In addition, the Resource Center will house other materials to give comfort and help relieve stress and pain through meditation, physical fitness, and diet.

CUSTOMER SERVICE

We have made our collection and resources readily available with expanded hours at the Resource Center. Our staff is trained to give you immediate attention, as well as information and support within a reasonable amount of time. If we cannot help you answer your health-related questions, we have developed a network of professionals in the health care business who are available to answer your questions.

Health consumers can check out consumer books, videos, and audiocassettes for up to two weeks by registering at the Resource Center. And you can request assistance with performing online searches, as well as with finding and using resources, in person, on the phone at (608) 342-5037, or by email at library@southwesthealth.org.
