What is the role of the Southwest Health Center Foundation?
Through its growth and development, Southwest Health Center has never lost sight of what is important - the people who live in the communities we serve. Providing high quality health care to each individual has always been a priority. Southwest Health Center's Foundation was founded with that thought in mind. Our top priority is the people we serve.

The goal of the Foundation is to offer a vehicle for supporters to invest in their community and assure the future of quality healthcare and services at Southwest Health Center. Future contributions allow for new technological equipment for patient care.

How has the Foundation contributed to Southwest Health Center in the past?
Today, because of the foundation and our donors, the nursing home residents have a van that enables them to be more involved with community activities. Respiratory care services have been expanded with a plethysmography unit and a capnography unit, as well as laboratory services with a new chemistry analyzer. Surgery has gained new VNUS (a minimally invasive alternative to vein stripping surgery) procedure equipment. With the help of the Quota Club of Platteville, infant hearing equipment has been purchased. In 2005, the Foundation accomplished financial support for the construction of the new hospital. All of these projects have made an important and measurable impact on our communities and within the services we offer and truly represent our mission. Investing In Our Future. For Life.

When is the "right time" to contribute to the Foundation?
When it comes time to making an investment, the "right time" is when it's right for you. Many of our contributors began their relationship with our Foundation during its recent Capital Campaign. Now that the campaign has ended, we enjoy an ongoing relationship with many of these generous friends of the Foundation.
